Recently a survey by the Cancer Council showed that 74% of people would quit if cigarette prices went up (14/04/09). If that includes you, then why wait?

Start now and here’s some advice to get you going:
- Keep a jar and whenever you buy a packet of ciggs, put the same amount in the jar. When you’re ready to quit, donate the money to a worthy cause. Don’t want to do that? Quit now then!
- Remember those disturbing ads that show what the aorta of a smoker looks like? Visualise them. EVERY DAY UNTIL YOU QUIT
- Don’t beat yourself up over relapse – but don’t give up either
- Check out www.allencarrseasyway.com – he reckons he can get ANYONE to quit!
Studies and research have proven that smoking either contributes to or causes cancers of the lung, breast, cervix, skin; heart disease; glaucoma and many other diseases. The thing to remember is, you aren’t divine or untouchable. It CAN happen to you.
